We have spent the last few days in the north of Israel enjoying everything that it has to offer. We journeyed around the mystical city of Tzfat, met some local artists, learned about Kabbalah and had the chance to shop around and try one of the best shawarma places in all of Israel.
Yesterday was our day of adventure. We started off the morning with a guided bike ride in the Hula Valley within the bird reserve. It was a gorgeous day and just beautiful to ride around this area. We headed off to the Jordan River where we floated along on rafts and had a blast just relaxing and taking in the scenery. After lunch, we visited Misgav Am which is a kibbutz on the border with Lebanon and heard from one of their residents who has lived there over 50 years. We ended the day by taking a boat cruise on the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) and enjoying everyone’s company. What a day!
